Each region is a maze like structure with various rooms and paths to discover. Cohesive “lived in” world - Scorn takes place in open-ended world with different interconnected regions.

Horror fans will be able to experience the world of Scorn just in time for Halloween, when it launches on October 21 2022, for Xbox Series X|S (day one with Xbox Gamepass) and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). On your journey through the game, new areas, skills, weapons and items will be unveiled as you attempt to comprehend the unfolding reality of Scorn. Each location has its own puzzles, characters and story to tell, all of which combine to create a cohesive world.
In Scorn, the environment is itself a character, and will do its best to unsettle and unbalance you. That's not to say every inhabitant you meet wants to eviscerate you - most of them don't care about you one way or the other. The first person gameplay in Scorn is a glistening combination of gunplay and puzzle solving, with the environment and the creatures it disgorges doing their utmost to confound your progress. You will find yourself entirely alone, with only your senses and instincts to guide you through the non-linear nightmare of interconnected spaces.
Scorn lures players into a claustrophobic underworld populated with mis-shapen organic forms dripping with unnamed fluids.
